Following on from our recent addition of new liveries to our existing Class 43 HST and Class 47 embroidered designs, as promised we now have some more new locos –
Both loco types are extremely popular and have been much requested by customers. This brings our total loco classes so far to 13 with the choice of 15 different livery options!!
The ‘Deltic’ is the prototype loco for the legendary Class 55 Deltic locos. The locomotive entered service in 1955 in a striking light blue and creme colour scheme. It was designed for high speed services on the ECML and its success led to the production of the 22 Class 55 locos. The Deltic Prototype is a much requested design that has been sold several times as personalised designs following people contacting me – now is the time to make it available online!
[ux_products type=”row” columns=”2″ equalize_box=”true” cat=”277″ products=”2″ tags=”11692″]The Class 35 Hymeks are another popular class of loco that are regularly requested. The Hymeks were synonymous with the Great Western operating area of British Rail, being regular performers on trains from Paddington to Devon and South Wales. They entered service between 1961 and 1964 and had a very short service life. The Hymeks were diesel-hydraulic locos, a design that quickly fell out of favour with British Rail. Withdrawals started in 1971 with the last leaving service in 1975. The design is available in either BR Green or BR Blue

Our latest embroidered design update adds another 3 liveries to our range of Class 43 power cars plus the addition of the buffer fitted power car.
We now have 9 Class 43 livery variations for you to choose from!!
The three new colour schemes are the much requested –
Its so easy to recreate your favourite Class 43 power car!
As mentioned above, you can now choose a buffer modified power car. In 1987, 18 power cars were modified to work with Class 91 locos and Mk 3 stock on the ECML prior to the Mk 4 stock coming into service. These power cars had the lower front cab valance removed and were fitted with standard buffer couplings.

After the huge success of offering personalised wording on our aircraft embroidered designs, I am delighted to announce you can now add personalised wording to all our embroidered railway locomotive clothing designs.
As standard, you can personalise your railway clothing by choosing your favourite loco number and choice of livery. If the loco was named the nameplate will also be added to your design.
Additionally, you can now add personalised words above and/or below the embroidered locomotive to replace the standard name and number design.
For classes that featured variable front ends such as Class 37, Class 40 and Class 45, the design will have either a split box or flush front design as appropriate for the loco number you choose.
Our range of embroidered loco designs are steadily increasing and currently include the following classes of loco

Our latest loco data panel update is all about shunters – those humble and often overlooked locos that were once seen in almost every siding and depot throughout the UK.
We have added most shunter classes along with some of the common livery variations –
All of the shunter data panels are available in BR Blue and Br Green. The Class 08 and Class 09 data panels are available in several more colour schemes.
[ux_products columns=”3″ auto_slide=”5000″ equalize_box=”true” ids=”68738,68739,68741,68740,68742″]The tiny Class 03 shunters could be found mainly on the Eastern Region of British Rail. They were so small and light they were often seen with a small match wagon to help ensure they activated the track circuits. Nothing quite as unsettling for a signaller to see than a shunter disappear from his panel!
The Class 06 shunters could be found mainly in Scotland and only consisted of around a dozen locos.
The Class 08 could be seen everywhere in the UK with over 900 being built. Almost every siding and depot in the UK would have at least one 08 shunter lurking somewhere. In the initial release of data panels you can get the following livery versions –
There were some really cool depot colour scheme variations and special colour schemes. These will be added as part of our ‘Special Edition’ data panel range which will be launched in the next few weeks.
The Class 09 shunters were predominantly found on the Southern Region of the UK. They were fitted with waist height brake fittings to make it safer for guards to couple up the trains in 3rd rail electrified areas. Once privatisation took hold the 09s spread their wings and could be found all over the UK.
There were only 3 Class 13 shunters which were purposely built to work the hump yard at Tinsley. The class 13 was essentially a pair of Class 08s coupled together with the cab being removed from the front loco.
Our flash sales on Facebook, Instagram and our email newsletters have been going down a storm and this weeks features data panels at knock down prices so check our social media to grab a bargain!

Hi everyone, first things first, I hope you and your loved ones are doing ok in these testing times.
As the Covid 19 situation evolves, I want you to be aware of what we are up to and how it affects your orders.
Heres a quick summary of where we find ourselves as May draws to a close –
We are continuing to run a normal service in regards to all our embroidered clothing and bags. Our blank clothing suppliers are able to run a limited service and we can access the full range of items we need. Delivery from them can vary between 5 or 6 working days when we need to order more blanks so there may be a knock-on effect to your order if we happen to be out of a particular colour/size combination.
We are continuing to experience intermittent issues with our printer. Various repairs have been undertaken but we are still encountering an underlying issue that intermittently stops our production. Please be aware of this when ordering printed products, as unfortunately, there has been an occasional delay to peoples printed orders. We continue to work remotely with guidance from the manufacturer’s tech support staff in an effort to resolve the intermittent fault.
Our supplier of Canvas Prints has temporarily stopped production whilst it implements mitigations to allow production to resume. As a result we will still take orders for Canvas Prints, but they will be held pending until such time as they reopen. We hope this wont be too long in light of the anticipated easing of Covid restrictions for non essential businesses.
There hasn’t been any updated guidance regarding ‘large gathering events’. In light of this, we are still anticipating a minimal show season, if any, in 2020. There is also an underlying health issue in the family which requires careful managing in relation to Covid 19, which adds to the considerations of resuming attendance at public events.
For the foreseeable future, we will remain online only.
This is a real shame as we have some fantastic new ranges to launch, several of which haven’t been seen before on the enthusiast circuit. We were very much looking forward to taking these new products out on the road this year!
Details of the new products will be revealed over the coming weeks and will be available online.
The enforced lockdown has been challenging as I am sure it has been for you guys n gals as well.
The time has been well used by undertaking some necessary, and tedious, website maintenance.
I have spent a lot of time creating new designs and developing product ideas which will be launched over the coming weeks. There is an awful lot for all you railway, aviation and military vehicle enthusiasts to look forward to!!
In addition to this, I have taken been going over customer reviews and feedback and been refining and improving some of our designs.
Our flash sales on Facebook, Instagram and our email newsletters have been going down a storm so keep your eyes peeled for this weeks announcement!!
The items consist of a couple of random items of stock we made up for the ‘not now happening’ show season and putting them up for grabs at knockdown prices!!
Each flash sale will include one railway and one aviation item up for grabs at a great price. Sometimes each social channel will feature different items so each sale gives you a choice of several items!
1st to claim an item gets it – simple as that!
Our loco data panel designs were updated to include a larger size of 400mm x 305mm – this addition has been extremely well received with over 90% of data panel orders being for this larger size!. Most locomotive livery designs have had slight tweaks and improvements.
More classes will be added now that the most popular loco classes are available online.
I will be starting a new series of limited edition loco specific data plates. These will feature some of the unique loco colour schemes and depot special variations that have graced the railways over the years.
I have been very busy designing new aircraft for the extremely popular Classic Military Aircraft clothing range.
Again, following feedback and suggestions, we have a great range of new aircraft ready to take off and join our clothing range!
Just a few of the famous aircraft added include –
Theres loads more classic military aircraft coming as well …. !!
With the recent anniversary of the Dambusters Raid over the weekend of 16th and 17th May, we added a new Dambusters Commemorative clothing range to remember the brave aircrew of that audacious raid.
With 2020 being the 80th Anniversary of the Battle of Britain we will be releasing a commemorative embroidered clothing range featuring 4 iconic Battle of Britain aircraft. The range will see the first Luftwaffe aircraft added to any of our ranges!
Those who have met us on the stall will know my wife Dawn.
Having got bored with ‘too many trains and planes’, she has taken the plunge and set up her own business called 8th Stitch Creations to make things more akin to her interests.
She will still be the backbone of all our in house embroidery, so don’t panic!
8th Stitch Creations allows her creative freedom to make things close to her heart including a very exciting fundraising project for the NHS!!
She is also specialising in unique memory and keepsake products such as memory blankets and so on.
You can find 8th Stitch creations on Facebook so please check out her page and see what she gets up to!!
Please stay safe everyone and we look forward to seeing you again at a show somewhere once this all blows over.
In the meantime, I will do my best to keep you entertained and supplied in railway, aviation and military vehicle goodies!!
All the best for now and stay safe!!!
