The number 1 priority was to make the GDMK Images website totally mobile friendly. All pages are now fully responsive to the screensize of your device.

You can view in fullsize glorious technicolor on your desktop or have a scaled but still glorious technicolour experience on your mobile phone. From the homepage you can choose a gallery featuring a defined subject or style of picture.

Once inside the gallery, hovering over the image (or touching the picture on your mobile device) reveals the buying options for that picture. Select the gift or licensing outlet to go directly to the product buying page.

Every gallery features easy searching and filtering capabilities. Even if there are 100’s of pictures in your chosen gallery, you can use the filter buttons to break the results down into gift types such as Mug, Phone Covers etc.

Use the ‘Search’ box to search the pictures in your selected gallery. All pictures are extensively keyworded to allow easy searching.

At the bottom of each page is a group of the most common used keywords. Most pictures are available to buy as any standard product.

One thing to remember when requesting a product that isnt listed, is the picture format. Portrait format pictures dont lend themselves well to mugs for instance. In contrast, the taller portrait format is ideal for taller products such as travel mugs.

The changes to the site have been very comprehensive but ultimately should lead to a better user experience.

Its worth visiting the shop to have a look at the Birchwood Print alone. I liked the wood look as soon as I saw it in the catalogue, so ordered a sample for the shop. Well, simply speaking, I was that stunned with the quality that the sample is up on the wall at home and I have ordered another for display in the shop!

In connection with a few behind the scenes changes, the GDMK Images brand and product range is set to significantly increase. The first noticeable change will be an increase in the products available to buy.

Why The Changes?

The changes are for many reasons, but the predominant change was the success of the Summer Events stall. My wife had the crazy idea to take my art out to a couple of summer events with our good friends at Alizzins Cave. The reception, feedback and demand to my work was overwhelming. In short, as a result of the success of the event stall, she has taken the marketing and product range to a whole new height.

GDMK Images is primarily about supplying wall art and editorial stock imagery. The photography and creating digital art will remain my focus and will still be the central focus of GDMK Images. My wife will be taking the photographic and digital art and marketing it as unique gifts through the website and at events around the country.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]

New Wall Art Rental Service

With the changes, now seems a good idea to announce the imminent launch of the GDMK Images wall art rental scheme. Very shortly, both home owners and businesses, will be able to rent wall art from GDMK Images for very affordable rates. The details will be revealed in full in the coming weeks, but essentially you will be able to rent some exceptional wall art with prices starting from £4.95 per month.

GDMK Images Event stall at Shackerstone Family Festival

This past weekend, 5th & 6th September, the GDMK Images art stall was at the Shackerstone Family Festival.

If you have never visited this event before, then make sure to put it in your diary for next September. You will find a wide range of events to entertain all the family.

Shackerstone Festival is a fairly unique show in that it combines a traditional summer show with both the canal and steam railway close by. This combination provides a great choice of attractions for visitors as there were co-ordinated events on the canal and the Battlefield Steam Railway.

We were joined by our friends from Alizzins Cave. Their stall looked absolutely beautiful as usual and was full to brimming with desirable and unusual homewares.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_gallery type=”image_grid” images=”2615,2614,2613,2628″ img_size=”medium”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]

GDMK Images Event Stall

Our event stall was able to put on a full display as the weather was much kinder than the previous weeks Hollycroft Park 80th birthday celebrations. Saturday morning started off damp and grey but brightened up by lunchtime. Sunday was glorious all day long with clear skies and wall to wall sunshine.

The new GDMK Images t-shirts were very well received. Following feedback we have now made the Vulcan t-shirt available in white and added childrens sizes as follows

  • 3-4 years old
  • 5-6 years old
  • 7-8 years old

A great number of new subscribers joined our mailing list. All should have received their 10% discount vouchers by email. If you haven’t received your voucher yet then please contact me.

Upcoming Events and new products

Our event stall will be visiting several events between now and Christmas so why not come along and say hi? We will have lots of items perfect for Christmas gifts.

New art is being added every week to the wall art collection and several new products will be available for you to see.

  • 24th/25th October – The Newark Festive Gift & Food Show at Newark Showground

All in all the Shackerstone show was very much enjoyed and we look forward to meeting and speaking with many of you again at our upcoming events

Art Stall Success at Hollycroft Park

Evening everyone, we are just about dried out from today’s fun at Hollycroft Park in Hinckley!

As per usual for a British Bank Holiday, the rain just didn’t stop for the 80th Birthday celebrations in Hinckley’s Hollycroft Park.

Despite the weather, our art stall was another total success. We had a great time talking about photography and art with all the visitors. The sales and orders made the weather bearable!

Our stall can only display a certain amount of the online art collection so people were pleased to see our new catalogue. The catalogue shows a selection of around 200 of the 700 or so online images. The catalogue gives a flavour of the full art collection whilst the displayed art lets customers see the various products such as canvas, metal and acrylic prints in detail.

Remember, any purchase can be secured with a £10 deposit followed by the remaining balance 7 days later.

Once the balance has been paid your order will be processed.  The finished products are usually available within 21-28 days. Your orders can be collected for free from Alizzins Cave on Rugby Road or delivered to your home address for £9.50 postage.

Next weekend, 5th & 6th September, our art stall will be at the Shackerstone Family Festival so please come along and say hello!

GDMK Images stall visiting 3 upcoming shows

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Our GDMK Images stall will be attending several shows during September and October. The stall will be exhibiting a large selection of images mounted on many different types of wall art products.

These shows will see the debut of a new range of t-shirts. These new t-shirts feature digital art images.

The upcoming shows are …

At the GDMK Images stall you will be able to view and buy any of the 700+ images available from my art collection.

At the Shackerstone Festival we will be joined by our very good friends from Alizzins Cave.

At the shows you will be able to secure any wall art product with a £10 deposit. Full payment is then due within the next 7 days. Production time is up to 21 days from receipt of full payment, at which point the prints can be collected from the Alizzins Cave shop in Hinckley or delivered to your home for £9.50.
