Class 40 Padded Gilet Jacket
A new garment type for our popular Class 40 designs.
Available with the standard side cab view or a full front view. Both views are finished to represent the loco number and livery you choose.
The Class 40 loco was introduced in the late 1950s as part of British Railways diesel modernisation plan.
The Class 40 locos were initially employed on express services on the Great Eastern and WCML.
Used on both passenger and freight services, their unique whistling sound made them firm favourites with rail enthusiasts until withdrawn from service in the mid 1980s.
