This zip necked fleece features a high quality embroidered Class 17 Clayton
The Class 17 Clayton loco was introduced in the early 1960s as part of British Railways diesel modernisation plan.
Of all the loco classes introduced under this scheme, the Class 17s were probably the most unsuccesful.
After many problems the first withdrawls began a mere 5 years after introduction.
These zip neck garments are perfect for those wanting something a little more substantial than a hoodie or sweatshirt but dont want a full jacket.
Railway embroidery designs are approximately 7.5 cm wide
