Description
Class 17 Clayton Embroidered Messenger Bag
This messenger bag features a high quality embroidered cab, number and nameplate (if appropriate) of your favourite Class 17 Clayton loco.
The Class 17 Clayton loco was introduced in the early 1960s as part of British Railways diesel modernisation plan.
Of all the loco classes introduced under this scheme, the Class 17s were probably the most unsuccesful.
After many problems the first withdrawls began a mere 5 years after introduction.
