Class 17 Clayton Fleece Jacket
This fleece jacket features a high quality embroidered Class 17 Clayton.
Part of our personalised gift service, this fleece can be personalised with your own wording.
The Class 17 Clayton loco was introduced in the early 1960s as part of British Railways diesel modernisation plan.
Of all the loco classes introduced under this scheme, the Class 17s were probably the most unsuccesful.
After many problems the first withdrawls began a mere 5 years after introduction.
Railway embroidery designs are approximately 7.5 cm wide
Available in sizes XS through to 5XL (not all colours) with a ladies fit in sizes 10 – 20.
