Over the years, I have been looking to keep our embroidered designs fresh. Part of this was driven by personalisation requests for different views, styles and angles of our standard loco cab side embroidered designs.

What Do The Class 40 New Designs Look Like?
The Class 40 design request that started this overhaul was for a Class 40 front of 40012 with missing discs. We very quickly followed by another request for 40168 and its HA domino style route indicator box.
Over time I decided to create designs for all the various (and theres a lot!!) of Class 40 fronts. This includes disc fronted locos, centre box and split box variants. The next step was to convert each front to be available in BR Blue and BR Green with the various full yellow and half yellow variants.
It took a long time, but was definitely worth it! We now offer any class 40 front in any livery version appropriate for the respective number!
At a rough guess there are over 25 different fronts!!
