A-10 Warthog, B-52 BUFF and F-15E Strike Eagle Now Standalone Aircraft Types

I have started to add the aircraft types featured in our Desert Storm 30th Anniversary commemorative clothing range to the Classic Military Aircraft clothing range.

You now have the option to buy these iconic aircraft types as both a Desert Storm commemorative garment and a Classic Military Aircraft garment.

If you haven’t seen the CMA range, the design features the aircraft name and service dates. Check them out as there is in excess of 30 aircraft types now!

New Additions include the following types and squadron options – 

A-10

  • 511th TFS from Alconbury in Camo colour scheme with sharks mouth nose.
  • 81st FS in standard grey.

F-15

  • 335th TFS F-15E from Seymour Johnson

B-52

  • 806th BW B-52G in Desert Storm colour scheme
  • 96th BW B-52H in standard grey.

Desert Storm Variants Added to Existing Aircraft Types

I did several aircraft types that already existed in the Classic Military Aircraft range in Desert Storm colours for the Commemorative Range.

The following aircraft are now options in the CMA range – 

  • 16 Sqn Tornado ZA447 ‘Mig Eater’
  • 12 Sqn Buccaneer 
  • 6 Sqn Jaguar

Request New Aircraft Types or Squadron Colours 

Each aircraft type on the Classic Military Aircraft Range provides an option for you to request the design in new Squadron colours or markings for a small additional charge.

If you would like an aircraft type not currently available then use the products in the Personalised Aviation Clothing range. These product allow you to request new aircraft types and also the provide the facility to personalise your design.

Aircraft Types in Progress

I’m currently finishing off the Victor in Desert Storm colours and a 1960s Camo scheme.

Following these two designs I have the following to work through –

  • Australian F-111 to add to the existing 494th TFS design already available
  • B-17
  • B-24
  • P-51
  • P-47
  • Hawk

Classic Military Aircraft Range Overhaul

I’m also in the process of overhauling the way the CMA range is presented. Originally, all designs were available under a single product, with each aircraft as a drop-down option.

Following feedback, I am breaking each aircraft type down into separate products grouped together in their own Classic Military Aircraft Category.

This process will take a little while longer, so if you cant find a particular product under the aircraft type category, every aircraft type is available as a drop down option in the personalised aircraft range.

Our final 2 Desert Storm 30th Anniversary Commemorative aircraft designs have been launched.

These 2 aircraft types are both legendary and need no introductions!

  • B-52G of the 806th BW (P) coded K which was based at RAF Fairford for the conflict
  • F-111F of the 494th TFS which was based at Lakenheath

Next Aircraft Designs

The next steps will be to add these aircraft designs to our Classic Military Aircraft clothing range.

The design will reflect the aircraft name and service dates (for retired aircraft types).

There will be several variations of each type of the aircraft featured in the Desert Storm range.

Already added to the Classic Military Aircraft range are the following variations of desert Storm aircraft types –

New variations being worked on include –

  • B-52H
  • F-15E 492 FS
  • RAAF F-111

RAF Buccaneer, F-15E Strike Eagle and Challenger Tank Added to Desert Storm Anniversary Clothing Range

To commemorate the 30th anniversary of Operation Granby/Desert Storm, we recently launched a range of Desert Storm embroidered and printed gifts to honour those that took part in the conflict.

1st Set of Desert Storm 30th Anniversary Designs

In the 1st set of clothing designs, we released the following aircraft –

  • Tornado GR1 of 16 Sqn
  • Jaguar GR1 of 6 Sqn
  • A-10 of 511 TFS

Each design has ‘1991 – 2021’ above the aircraft and ‘Operation Granby 30’ below the UK aircraft and ‘Desert Storm 30’ below the US aircraft.

Operation Granby 30th Anniversary Commemorative Gifts

17th January marks the 30th Anniversary of the start of Operation Granby. Operation Granby was the UK Armed Forces component of Desert Storm, what many people call the first Gulf War.

To commemorate the anniversary, we have launched a range of embroidered and printed gifts to honour those that took part in the conflict.

Desert Storm 30 Designs

The designs will be launched in several phases and will feature military aircraft and vehicles that took part in the conflict.

The 1st phase was launched to our newsletter subscribers and Facebook group members earlier this week

In the 1st set of designs are the following aircraft –

  • Tornado GR1 of 16 Sqn
  • Jaguar GR1 of 6 Sqn
  • A-10 of 511 TFS

The 2nd set of designs will be released towards the end of next week and will feature – 

  • Buccaneer
  • Challenger Tank
  • F-15E 335 TFS

Each design has ‘1991 – 2021’ above the aircraft and ‘Operation Granby 30’ below the UK aircraft and ‘Desert Storm 30’ below the US aircraft.
