Class 17 Clayton Sweatshirt

This sweatshirt features a high quality embroidered Class 17 Clayton.

The Class 17 Clayton loco was introduced in the early 1960s as part of British Railways diesel modernisation plan.

Of all the loco classes introduced under this scheme, the Class 17s were probably the most unsuccesful.

After many problems the first withdrawls began a mere 5 years after introduction.

Part of our personalised gift service, this sweatshirt can be personalised with your own wording.

Railway embroidery designs are approximately 7.5 cm wide
