Lancaster Bomber Digital Art
This digital painting is a tribute to those who have served with RAF Bomber Command. The central picture is of a Lancaster bomber. In the top corners are fading representations of RAF aircrews entering and leaving their aircraft. The top left is a Whitley bomber used during the early years of WW2. The top right shows a crew walking away from their aircraft after completing a mission. Bottom right shows the RAF Bomber Command emblem with its motto of ‘Strike Hard Strike Sure’. The bottom left references the huge loss suffered by Bomber Command crews during the second world war.
