Our latest fast jet addition to our Classic Military Aircraft clothing range is the legendary F-14 known as the Tomcat.
What Is The F-14?
The F-14 Tomcat is a legendary Fleet Defence fighter aircraft used by the US Navy to protect its aircraft carriers.
Already a firm favourite with aviation enthusiasts, the F-14 achieved cult status with the release of the Top Gun film in 1986. The film, although considered a bit light weight by critics, was a firm favourite of aviation enthusiasts for its stunning air to air scenes featuring the F-14.
Primarily designed as a Fleet Defence and Air Inteception aircraft, the F-14s gained ground attack abilities in the 1990s with the F-14D modifications.
Which F-14 Tomcat Squadrons Are Available?
The first F-14 Squadron we have added is the VFA-111 Sundowners.
In the coming weeks, we are planning to add several other F-14 Squadron variations added. In the meantime, you can easily request a different Tomcat version on each product page when selecting garment size and colour etc.
