A New Design For Military History Enthusiasts
Recently, we were approached to create some for merchandise for the man behind Tinys Tales of WW2 – Gareth Ashcroft.
Gareth will be posting historic material on his Youtube channel and wrote this piece to explain his aims
Hello! I’m Gareth, my friends call my “Tiny” for obvious reasons haha! I’m an amateur World War 2 historian, enthusiast, re-enactor & I also volunteer at several museums.
See things through my eyes and my cameras. I’m not here promoting war and I am not a warmonger, everything we talk about actually happened.
The stories I share are about the ultimate sacrifices given to protect our freedom. If we forget what happened and what man is capable of doing to another man; whats to say it will not happen again.
I have a passion to educate and I really hope you enjoy my content. I started this journey using YouTube as a platform in 2025, I have however been fascinated and been studying World War 2 since I was 12 years old.
I am Anglo-American, I have family that served in the British Army, The Royal Air Force and the United States Army. I myself only made it as far as the Air Training Corps as a Cadet before training to become a Motor Mechanic.
